Pool Rules
NOTE: Regardless of posted hours, the pool is
CLOSED by order of the Canton Board of Health when
a certified lifeguard
is not present.
- All residents in good standing will be permitted to use the pool.
- Use of pool is only permitted when a lifeguard is on duty.
- All members and guests are to check in with the lifeguard on arrival.
- All personal possessions must be removed from the pool area daily.
- Food is permitted in designated area only. Please clean up after yourself
- No glass containers are allowed in the pool area.
- No parking is allowed in the circle (please).
- No smoking in the pool area.
- The telephone is to be used for emergencies only.
- Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied by an adult.
- Residents that are sixteen or older may bring guests.
- Toddlers and infants must have a clean diaper and watertight pants on at all times while in the pool.
- Parents are required to be in the pool with (hands on) their
toddlers and infants.
- The safety of children is the sole responsibility of the parents or guardian.
- Only children cleared by the lifeguard on duty may swim in the deep end of the pool.
- Children that have not been cleared by the lifeguard are not permitted near or in the deep end of the pool.
- Yelling and/or screaming children will be asked to leave the pool area.
- There will be no running or diving allowed anywhere in the pool area.
Lifeguards have the responsibility and authority to enforce these rules for the good and safety of the whole community.
